2000年12月28日下午6时许，徐氏夫妻发现在深圳罗湖区自家小店门口玩耍的儿子不见了，第二天他们接到匿名电话声称孩子被绑架。夫妻俩思索再三，决策向就近的竹翠派出所报案。正当派出所民警罗湖刑警大队联通翠竹派出所成立专案进行紧张侦查时，小孩和绑匪却消失了。

近几年，随着科技的进步，徐某某夫妻漫长艰辛的寻子之路终于出现了转机，人工智能开始被应用于打拐寻人案件，腾讯守护者计划与警方紧密配合，通过优图计算机视觉人工智能技术，不断缩小疑似被拐人员的范围，提高了警方的寻人效率。

今年上半年，根据公安部、广东省公安厅打拐办的从业部署，深圳市公安局刑事侦查局以智慧新侦查、警企合作为契机，在腾讯守护者计划协助下，应用ai技术进行比对，组织有关分局开展为期半年的曙光打拐专项行动。罗湖分局辗转全省6个地市，行程3000余公里，连续奋战50多天，对上百条人像比对的结果新闻逐一拆析、核查，在惠州发现与小成高度相似的小伙儿。后经dna检验比对，最终确认小伙儿就是多年前被绑架的小男孩。

6月19日，警方在深圳市公安局罗湖分局为一家人的再次团聚举办了寻人认亲会。见到魂牵梦萦近二十年的儿子，夫妻俩抑制不住留下泪水。如今孩子已从丢失之时3岁小男孩儿长成20多岁大小伙儿，父亲徐某某都有些认不出了，隐约从五官及轮廓辨觉孩子和小时候有些相似。

像这样孩子被拐超过十年的案子还有很多。腾讯守护者计划安全专家李新表示，守护者计划希望新技术的应用能为国家侦破打拐积案做出越来越多贡献。

事实上，用ai寻人并不容易。难就难在没有成熟的算法模型，加上数据样本有限，实验效果一开始一直不太理想。腾讯优图实验室计算机视觉ai技术研究员李博士说，从婴幼儿到成年是人脸容貌变化最为剧烈时期。最终，李博士和同事们经过千万次的模型训练，终于训练出一个可以进行精准比对的深度神经互联网模型。

截至目前，包括徐某成在内，腾讯守护者计划已成功协助四川和广东警方找到8名被拐10年以上的孩子。
